Disclaimer: I don't own anything. Just a fans musing of how she wished the show had been.
Notes: My first fanfic in a while and my first Torchwood fanfic ever! Comments are very welcome.

Running towards the entrance, Tosh silently cursed her disbelief of the weatherman. Of course it won’t rain, she thought at the time, yet here she was, less than an hour later, drenched to the skin. Concentrating all her energy on getting into the dryness of the hub, she almost missed the voice calling to her from behind.

Owen called to her, panting to keep up. He’d never realized she could run so fast, especially in such high heels.
Turning towards the man she harbored secret love for, Tosh couldn’t help but blush. Only imagining how ridiculous she must look towards him. She could sense her hair would be a big ball of fluff, her clothes sticking to her skin. Oh goodness, she thought. Her top hadn’t gone see-though had it?

That question was quickly answered, Owen’s gaze managed to stay on her face the whole journey down assuring Tosh that her top was still in a perfectly adequate state.

“I really should pay attention to the weather...” she mentioned noticing his clothing also appeared slightly inappropriate for the downpour.

“News was never really my thing. I’d much rather just listen to music.”

Tosh hoped their conversation didn’t delve much further down the route it appeared to be taking. She wasn’t too clued up on modern music and would hate to make a fool of herself in front of him.

Toshiko stayed silent, something she had always been good at. It had helped her blend into the background, allow herself room, leaving things on her terms. She knew what a disaster she’d have if she didn’t.

“Anyway...” Owen chirped in after a sufficient awkward silence, “the rain isn’t so bad...I always kinda liked it. You know in that karma way.”

Tosh stared at him, a look of confusion on her face. Owen sighed, his philosophical comments were never received in the way he expected.

“I mean...You know...Washing away of sins. I guess you wouldn’t understand. A girl as virtuous as you. I think I need the rain. It keeps me clean.”

Tosh was just thinking of the right thing to say, something that would make him realize she wasn’t as “pure” as he thought.

“I...” Too late, their moment was gone. They’d reached the hub, their moment was gone. Owen waved a goodbye and wandered over to his workstation. Tosh just stood, watching him walk away from her.

He’d always walk away.

Yey It's snowing!!! I love the snow! I hope it lies for at least today so I can go outside in it.

Doctor Who was actually quite awesome last night! I'm still not sure about Catherine Tate, she didn't scream and shout so much but they still put unfunny humerous moments in :s.
Rose was in!!!!!!!!!! She looked quite evil...and then she disappeared! (back to the parellel world?)
I'm looking forward to this season now! hehe

I still can't believe how Torchwood ended last night! It was so heartbreaking.

They killed Tosh AND Owen! My two favourite characters!
At least they had a really really nice scene between them before they died, I was literally fighting back the tears!

Jack's brother Gray really was the evilness! Grr he should have killed him not frozen him!!!!!!!! He burried him alive for goodness sakes!
I like Captain John, even when you think he's bad, you can't help but laugh at him, He's just so hillarious.

The video when they turned Tosh's pc off was just as bad as the final Tosh/Owen scene :( It almost made me cry. Grr I can't believe they killed them both off!!!!!

So they'll be new characters next season and I think I could know who.

When filming Doctor Who, Captain Jack is seen leaving with Martha and Mickey.
Martha = Medic (Owen)
Mickey = Computer Genius (Tosh)
Not sure what I'd think of it though, Martha was good in Torchwood, but mainly because of the flirtyness with Owen and I think Mickey could be an odd choice :s
Guess we'll have 13 weeks to find out...

First of all, hope you guys have an awsome easter...
So I guess I failed my promise to you guys...I'm so gunna die now!!!!!

Quick update on a drama in my sucky life behind the cut if you really wanna know.
I'll also try and post my torchwood video later today. Yes I made it ages ago but I never posted it here.

So I though the school was being awsome this year, as having our Easter 2 weeks in a few weeks time means we clicked three days...but, there's been a boiler break down and the rest of the school have all of next week off except from my year group and the hgihest year group :(
It's mean!!!!!

Also, if any of you guys like Panic at the Disco, DO NOT buy their new album, Pretty. Odd., it will just make you hate them...

Just quickly writing this so that you guys know I'm still alive. I've been quite sick lately and not been on the computer much.

Decay and Die

She raised her head and was about to wipe the tears from her eyes when she spotted a canoe landing on the shore. She jumped from Jacks arms and ran towards the boat.
He was back, it was all alright.
She was at the edge of the water before she realized Desmond was alone in the canoe.She waited for him to reach her, taking deep breaths of salty air, preparing for the news to be given. It was at that moment she thought of the change taking place in her life. They were leaving the island, returning to reality. Not that reality held much for her except her mother and she’d been in a coma for years. It was as if everything she loved decayed and died. Maybe it was good that Thomas had left before the same happened to him. No matter how much she hated him for leaving she had loved him too, once.
“Desmond!” She shouted once he had reached the shore, “Where’s…” before she could ask he interrupted.
“You must understand, Claire. He wanted to do this. He did this for you, you and Aaron.”
She thought how usually the other survivors treated her like a child; they lied to her and coated their words in sugar, as though she couldn’t handle the truth. For once she found herself wanting that.
“Don’t you dare make excuses! Where is he?”
“He…drowned. It was the only way, Claire. He chose to die a hero. If it wasn’t today he’d of died tomorrow, or the next day. Nobody could’ve prevented it.”
“So…you left him? He died alone?”
He shook his head.
“I waited. I made sure he was dead before I left.”
The pain hit her like a gun shot. She knew she should’ve stopped her questions there but she found her curiosity getting the better of her and before she had the chance to think her tongue slipped.
“But you didn’t help him?” She queried, her tone of voice angrier and louder.
“Claire…”
“I can’t listen to your excuses, Desmond.” She turned and left him standing alone.
She made it to her tent before she broke down into tears. She still had so much she wanted to ask Desmond but the sight of his face was making her sick. The fact he could’ve done something, anything to help him but he just stood and watched him die.
She didn’t understand how Charlie dying could’ve helped her at all. She didn’t even want to leave the island; it scared her to think of returning alone. The island was the first place she had totally fitted in and been accepted. They were family to her and she couldn’t even contemplate living in a home miles from those she’d spent some of the happiest days of her life with.
She knew everybody would soon know the news. They’d all try to be nice. If there was one thing she hated it was people being “nice”. She didn’t want their false sympathy.
Once when she was small her mother told her that dying was a reward for a hard life. The deceased was taken to a place much better than where they spent their life. Maybe it was true. Maybe it was an excuse to remove the grief- and guilt.
She started half-heartedly packing away her few possessions. At the bottom of a pile of clothes she found her diary. She opened it and flicked to the last entry. She read what she wrote about Charlie being brave in her eyes. How he had always tried his best to protect her and Aaron. She found herself between a smile and tears. Those moments when he thought she wasn’t watching and he was playing with Aaron used to make her smile. He would have made such a good dad.
Sun was the first to arrive with her condolences. She never knew what to reply when people told her how “sorry they were of her loss”. It made her feel awkward and out of place. So she just nodded her head and tried to move the conversation on.
Only minutes after Sun left she heard somebody behind her. She turned to see Desmond.
“I’m sorry Desmond. I just can’t talk to you.” He nodded but still proceed to sit next to her.
“Charlie gave me this.” He said producing a sheet of paper. “It’s for you.”
She took it and Desmond walked away only turning to say, “He chose to die Claire,” and then continued to his tent.
She unfolded the paper. The first line said “The first time I heard my song on the radio.”
She continued to read what seemed to be Charlie’s best moments in life when a voice from the beach made her jump.
“Look! It’s the boat! We’re going home!”

So I've not posted in awhile (sorry) but I come bearing some pretty icons!

I followed some tutorials and made 12 icons, every icon from a different tutorial. I think they turned out quite well!!
Tell me which techniques work well or dont so I can develop the tutorials further to work for me :D

Anyway, the reason I've not updated lately is school. Went back last week and all is good...so far! I've not got my friends in my classes but my teachers are okay. Sick of hearing about SAT stuff though, oh and picking our options! Hopefully we don't get too much homework this year!

Like Changing Seasons

When the voice on the radio informed the survivors that rescue was on the way everybody seemed ecstatic, but Claire could not help but wonder if Charlie had escaped alive. She had heard them all talking about how it was a suicide mission but surely he was safe with Desmond, the man whom admitted to predicting Charlie’s death only weeks earlier. Surely he wouldn’t let the selfish need for rescue take priority over someone’s life. She clutched tighter to her baby thinking how they didn’t have a proper goodbye. How she never told him that she loved him, even though she did. It never seemed appropriate as they hadn’t been together that long and then he seemed to keep messing up, but now the fact she may never have the chance to tell him overwhelmed her. Claire tried to keep her tears back but in moments they were running down her face. “Ssh, what’s wrong?” Kate asked wrapping an arm around her. “It’s just...Charlie. He might be...” She found herself unable to finish the sentence, saying it aloud would be too final. Claire wanted to hang onto the smallest hope that he survived. “I mean, you all said...It was a suicide mission.” In Kate's face she saw a flicker of pity. She was thinking of how to hide the fact she too believed Charlie dead. She took just a fraction of a second too long making her opinion even clearer. “I’m sure he’ll be fine. He’s a tougher guy than you give him credit.” Claire sighed, despite the fact she was now a mother and not much younger than many of the other survivors, she was still treated like a child. When they started their journey back towards the beach, Claire tried to see any sign of Charlie, Desmond or even their canoe. As soon as they were back she ran towards Hurley asking if anything had happened since she last asked over the radio. “Sorry but I’ve seen nothing. You’d be the first I’d tell.” He told her with a tone of sincerity in his voice. Claire knew she could trust him as one of Charlie’s best friends on the island. In-fact she’d trust him anyway; he was such a bad liar and she knew how he’d lost a love only a month earlier. It had always been easy to know where she stood with Hurley. Claire returned to her tent but felt useless. She sat then stood. Placed Aaron in his crib then picked him up. She paced up and down unable to settle until she had news about Charlie. After an hour of the survivors cautiously watching her she was finally approached by Jack. “Hey you got everything you need?” he asked her. She wondered if it was really a question or if he just wanted to keep her occupied. She nodded her head. What did possessions matter? None of it was really hers anyway; it had been scavenged from the dead. “Well, I don’t think they’ll be long now. I’d be ready to leave if I were you.” “We can’t go!” she screamed. Jack appeared surprised by her sudden outburst. “I mean he’s not back yet. How can we leave without him? What if he…” Claire allowed Jack to comfort her in his arms, feeling safe as if she had handed all her troubles to him. “It’s alright…ssh. He’ll be back.” She raised her head and was about to wipe the tears from her eyes when she spotted a canoe landing on the shore. She jumped from Jacks arms and ran towards the boat. He was back, it was all alright.

I havn't posted here in sooooooooo long! I really should show commitment to stuff but then i figure who wants to hear bout my boring life?

I guess i can post about my holiday to Florida and Normandy...

So I just came back from a school trip to Normandy.
It was actually really fun once you got past the 18 hour coach drive, cheesy group songs and spiders in the dorms.
We had loadsa time for gossiping - really fun!
The teachers wernt too strict which was good but they didnt let everyone run riot!
I even played football! OMG! Even if i spent the time talking to my friend Esther (she was on the other team). We kinda lost, lol!
I even attempted archery, jumped for a trapeeze swing but i drew the line at absailing, it looked too scary.
I loved the french architecture, there buildings are to die for, the villages are so picturesque!
ummmmm...OH! I didnt eat snails but some people did (then puked after!!)

Actually im kinda bored of typing, i think ill tell you about my Florida holiday tomorrow if i dont forgot.
Im such a spaz! lol

Did anybody see big brother? All girls = major bitch fights! Not sure who I like yet but Emily seems quite funny. Have to see though, girls tend to be two faced!
Also maybe had a kick ass video idea, all will be revealed in time
Decided to make new icons so I made 8 lost icons mainly from "Greatest Hits" and one from the amazing finale "Through The Looking Glass" and 5 "Memoirs Of A Geisha" icons. I think this is my best batch yet.

Basically if you're looking for someone to blame for the whole me getting a livejournal fiasco it's superelle07, she convinced me to set this up.
Secondly I hope you don't like rambling cause I'll probably just end up doing a whole lot of it!

There isn't much to say about myself apart from, I'm Becca and I'm 13. I live in the North East of England and I have brown hair.
I can be kinda random and tend to talk a load of crap....Now I'm starting to struggle!

I LOVE Lost and I ship Jate. I'm a huge Doctor Who fan and despite still missing Rose think Martha's doing a great job.
I'm almost certain you didn't really need to know any of that but now you know a little bit about me even if the things I said are totally wierd and are most likely to make your chances of return drop to nil.
Hoping I didnt scare you too much and you'll still be here to see another entry.
